Parents, students, community members, faculty and staff . . . we invite you to join the Mighty and Proud Mustangs as we take a glimpse into the future of Meadowcreek High School and proceed to collaborate, Inspire and Own to achieve our students’ dreams. As we look ahead to the future, what we will see are Meadowcreek U High School. The fact is that our Meadowcreek U High School will provide an opportunity for our students, parents and the community to collaborate. The purpose of this collaboration will be to create a new knowledge base by joining multiple perspectives to ensure high student achievement, character development, and leadership opportunities. Meadowcreek U will be schools within a school focused on the inspirational experience of learning through doing as our students create and lead businesses within the community. Meadowcreek U will be the business and STEM development center of the future where students will gather the knowledge base to own the educational experience through their school year and beyond.
Our address is 4455 Steve Reynolds Blvd, but through the schools within Meadowcreek the learning opportunities will extend far beyond the walls and its location. Local businesses will collaborate with our students to develop experiences through Meadowcreek U. The students’ relationship with their core curricular teachers will give them the required rigor to excel in mathematics, social studies, language arts and science and imbed this knowledge into the collaborative experience of their school choice. The collaboration will fall into our students’ hands in the form of learning experiences as they work together with community leaders on industry specific projects. This model of collaboration will empower our students to graduate with an industry certification that will take a traditional student two years in a post-secondary school to obtain.
Meadowcreek U will inspire students through its curriculum where students are highly engaged and highly employable with high paying wage opportunities. Through Meadowcreek U and a blended curriculum, our students will begin to love, appreciate and respect lifelong learning. Our Meadowcreek family of students and faculty will work in school themed teams to motivate each other and develop the potential of self-worth that is within each student. The foundation of this self-worth and interest to learn begins with the core curriculum teachers and instruction in math, language arts, social studies and science. In these traditional settings it is where the tools for success and much of the drive necessary to be successful in the academies and beyond will be instilled in our students.
The inspiration will continue in the form of the path choice the student follows. Ultimately, as you walk through our halls you will observe our mighty and proud students inspiring each other and inspiring their teachers through their success and accomplishment. Ownership is the ultimate prize of Meadowcreek U. Our goal is not to empower students to obtain jobs but to empower students to create jobs for others and create career opportunities for those who see them as a resource. Our faculty will own our achievements and our commitment to continuous improvement as we strive to be a performance culture of excellence. Our students will own the learning process as their teachers use the gradual release instructional framework to create student ownership. All will take pride in the businesses of Meadowcreek that serve faculty, students and the community. In turn, our parents and students will have a new found ownership for education as our students will earn wages for working at their school led business after and during school hours. Our vision is that as members of the community exit I-85 and turn onto Steve Reynolds Blvd. they will recognize the vibrant colors of Carolina blue and white as their own and these community members will realize that they have a place at the table of their flagship school, Meadowcreek High School.

A tradition of excellence for all Meadowcreek High School is grounded in our guiding principles: Collaborate, Inspire and Own. This quest for excellence begins with the collaboration of incredible students, staff and community members. The achievements in academic and extracurricular activities have been significant in the past and will continue to move us to the future. Meadowcreek High School is dedicated to all students achieving a rigorous and relevant education through project based learning. Our faculty and staff provide the appropriate nurture and motivations as students grow academically. We know that learning happens with fine instruction and reflection to make knowledge meaningful. We aspire to be the best at teaching and learning, using solid research-based instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students.
